{"id":832,"date":"2013-01-12T00:16:43","date_gmt":"2013-01-12T00:16:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/snapschedul.web801.discountasp.net\/employee-scheduling-blog\/?p=832"},"modified":"2013-09-25T19:16:34","modified_gmt":"2013-09-25T19:16:34","slug":"snap-schedule-user-interface-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bmscentral.com\/learn-employee-scheduling\/snap-schedule-user-interface-video\/","title":{"rendered":"Snap Schedule Employee Scheduling Software &#8211; User Interface Overview"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Snap Schedule interface couldn\u2019t be simpler.\u00a0 If you\u2019ve ever used Microsoft Office, you\u2019ll feel right at home\u2014and if not, it\u2019s easy to learn.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DcSUYMkp0FU\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>All your tools are right here at the top.\u00a0 You can view your schedule, customize the display, filter your results, assign employees to shifts, and email your schedule straight to your staff.<\/p>\n<p>Just click on \u201cDaily,\u201d to see your master schedule.\u00a0 For each employee, on each day of the week,\u00a0 you\u2019ll see a color-coded assignment, like day shift, night shift, and so on.<\/p>\n<p>You can also view one shift at a time, and see which employees you\u2019ve assigned.\u00a0 Or click on \u201cCalendar,\u201d and then choose an employee, to see their schedule for the coming month.\u00a0 You can even assign specific Tasks to each employee, and schedule them down to the minute.\u00a0 Go back to the calendar and hover over a cell, and you\u2019ll see every one of these tasks.<\/p>\n<p>Click on \u201cSchedule Outlook\u201d for a high-level view.\u00a0 How many workers do you need, and how many have you assigned, for each shift?<\/p>\n<p>To assign more, you can choose a cell, click on the \u201cShift\u201d button, and assign your employee to the appropriate shift.\u00a0 Or, just choose a shift on the sidebar, and drag it onto your schedule.\u00a0 Of course, you can also drag time off onto the schedule, from Vacation Days to Jury Duty\u2014or, use the \u201cTime Off\u201d button, instead.\u00a0 You can even right-click on any cell, to assign a shift, schedule time off, and more.\u00a0 Snap Schedule will flag any schedule conflicts automatically.<\/p>\n<p>For more options, you can go to the Manage tab, to access Administrative tools, enter data about your employees, define your shifts\u2026 and run a wide range of Reports.\u00a0 You can list the employees working the day shift tomorrow, or send an employee their complete schedule for the month.<\/p>\n<p>Visit the File tab, to save your work, start a new schedule, and get help from our learning center.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, notice the Quick Access toolbar at the very top.\u00a0 You can run reports, or print a schedule, without navigating any menus.\u00a0 And you can right-click on any button and add it to this toolbar, to easily customize the interface.<\/p>\n<p>Need help?\u00a0 You can hover over any tool for a help bubble, click the question mark at the top right, keep watching our video tutorials, or just visit our website \u00a0at <a title=\"our website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bmscentral.com\">http:\/\/www.bmscentral.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Snap Schedule interface couldn\u2019t be simpler.\u00a0 If you\u2019ve ever used Microsoft Office, you\u2019ll feel right at home\u2014and if not, it\u2019s easy to learn.
