{"id":868,"date":"2013-02-02T16:12:53","date_gmt":"2013-02-02T16:12:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/snapschedul.web801.discountasp.net\/employee-scheduling-blog\/?p=868"},"modified":"2013-03-29T23:23:23","modified_gmt":"2013-03-29T23:23:23","slug":"snap-schedule-auto-scheduling-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bmscentral.com\/learn-employee-scheduling\/snap-schedule-auto-scheduling-video\/","title":{"rendered":"Snap Schedule Employee Scheduling Software &#8211; Auto Scheduling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With Snap Schedule employee scheduling software, you can schedule your entire staff automatically, with just a few clicks.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fY0GLIhJWjU\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Simply launch Snap Schedule, and click on \u201cCreate Schedule.\u201d\u00a0 You could use our wizard to create your first schedule from scratch.\u00a0 But I\u2019ll create my schedule automatically, using a pre-designed plan.<\/p>\n<p>Click the Download button, and you can choose from over 30 shift patterns.\u00a0 Let\u2019s say your office is open 24\/7, and you have four teams of employees working eight-hour, rotating shifts.\u00a0 There are several plans that might fit your needs.\u00a0 Click on each one to read a brief summary; click the link at the bottom for more details.\u00a0 Then, double-click on the plan you want.<\/p>\n<p>Teams can be any size, but they must all be the same size.\u00a0 Enter the Positions you need to fill within each team: for instance, Supervisors, Sales Associates, and Support Technicians.\u00a0 Give each position a unique name.\u00a0 And specify how many people you have at each position on a team.<\/p>\n<p>Click Next, for a color-coded sample of your shift patterns.\u00a0 In this case, Team 1 has 6 days on the green day shift, 2 days off, 6 days on the blue swing shift, 2 days off, 6 days on the yellow night shift, 2 days off, and then the cycle repeats.\u00a0 Review your plan, and click Next.<\/p>\n<p>By default, your new schedule will begin next Monday.\u00a0 But you can open the dropdown and choose any start date you\u2019d like.\u00a0 Our plan repeats every 24 days.\u00a0 Choose how many times you\u2019d like to repeat it, and the end date and total length of your new schedule are updated automatically.<\/p>\n<p>Click Next, and review your selections.\u00a0 You can go Back and make any changes, or just click Finish.<\/p>\n<p>Choose a folder on your hard drive, and enter a filename for your schedule, and click Save.<\/p>\n<p>Snap Schedule automatically creates and loads your new schedule.\u00a0 These color-coded icons make it easy to spot the leader, and members, of each team.\u00a0 You can also click on each employee, and fill in their name; just click OK to save.<\/p>\n<p>You can click on Shift view, and verify that your shifts are all covered.\u00a0 Here, we have Team One on day shift, Team Two on swing shift, Team Four on night shift, and Team Three has the day off.<\/p>\n<p>You can also click on Calendar view and see an employee\u2019s complete work schedule for the coming month.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for watching.\u00a0 To learn more, please visit our website at <a title=\"Snap Schedule employee scheduling software website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bmscentral.com\">www.BMScentral.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With Snap Schedule employee scheduling software, you can schedule your entire staff automatically, with just a few clicks.
