Snap Schedule employee scheduling software can instantly generate over 30 comprehensive reports, to help you schedule, manage, and budget your employees effectively.
Just go to the Manage section, click on “Reports,” and choose what type of report you’d like to create. For instance, you can create an Assignment Calendar with all of the shift assignments and time-off requests for the week, or the month; list everyone working on a particular day, by name or by position; or even keep track of the Tasks you have assigned within each shift.
You can even track your labor costs for each employee, including their regular hours, overtime hours, differential pay, and more. Like most of our reports, this one also includes embedded links. I can click on an employee’s name to see their complete record, including their hourly wage. I can make any changes, and click OK to save and come back to the report. When I click “Refresh” on the toolbar, Snap Schedule will instantly update this employee’s pay.
In most of our reports, you can also use the dropdown menus to choose a time period, like the current week, the month, the quarter, or the whole year, and scroll down for more options. Or use the calendars to choose a start date, and an end date, and recalculate the report for any time period. You can scroll through your report. Use the buttons to move ahead one page at a time or jump to the end—in this case, so I can see my total payroll for the week. Or, use the links in the sidebar to jump to any record in the report.
You can also use the toolbar to Sort your results by any field, Find a particular record, or Filter your report. For instance, I’ll only include employees who work in the main office. You can even Modify the Header and Footer—including each line of text, and even the fonts.
When you’re done, click the File tab, and you can print a copy of your report. You can also export it, as a PDF, an Excel spreadsheet, or in a variety of other formats. Or, just Save all the settings for your report: the time period, the filters, the sort order, even the header and footer. You can go back to the Reports page at any time, and click on your saved report at the bottom, to run that same report again, using all the latest data.
