Snap Schedule Premium workforce scheduling software uses Microsoft SQL Server for its data storage and works with all on-premise Microsoft SQL Server editions from 2005 to 2008 R2, Web-hosted SQL Server 2005/2008 platforms, our hosted database service, and the Microsoft SQL Azure cloud-based relational database service. You have a wide range of options on where to store your data. You can use the included SQL Server Express Edition on your desktop, connect to a database on your enterprise SQL server, or put your data on a Web-hosted platform so users can access the data from anywhere using a simple Internet connection.

With the Punch scheduling view and the employee remote access application, you can use the digital version of a punchcard to see exactly how your scheduled hours compare to the hours your employees are actually working. The employee remote access option allows employees to digitally punch in and out, sending information to the Snap Schedule Premium software and allowing you to monitor punch in/out times in realtime.

Whether you log in/out, create new data records, delete or make changes to existing data, Snap Schedule Premium maintains a database activity log that serves as an audit trail. You can use this log to get answers to questions like “Who logged in from where, when did they log in, and what changes were made?". Snap Schedule Premium software supports Windows authentication for single sign-on and bypasses signing in if the Windows login name is identical to its user name.
