Snap Schedule provides a number of different reports that feature varying aspects of your scheduling system. You may want to share that information with other members of your organization electronically. To meet this requirement, Snap Schedule provides the ability to export reports using a variety of formats as outlined below.
Portable Document Format | An extremely common read-only document format that is well-suited to reports. To view this format, the recipient will need the free Acrobat Reader that is available from Adobe Systems. | |
RTF | Rich Text Format | An editable word-processing format that is used primarily by Microsoft Word, but can also be opened by other major word processing applications. |
XLS | Excel Spreadsheet | An editable spreadsheet format that is used primarily by Microsoft Excel. |
GIF | Graphics Interchange Format | A reduced-size read-only graphic format that can be opened by most web browsers. |
JPEG | Joint Photographic Experts Group | A universal read-only, compressed-size graphic format that can be read by all web browsers. |
PNG | Portable Network Graphics | A read-only, compressed-size graphic format that can be opened by most major picture viewers including Microsoft Office Picture Manager, Microsoft Paint, and Windows Photo Gallery. |
EMF | Enhanced Meta File | A native picture format for Microsoft Applications that is recommended format for inserting into Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations. |
TIFF | Tagged Image File Format | A read-only graphic format that is used primarily by scanning applications and can be opened by most major picture viewers including Microsoft Office Picture Manager, Microsoft Paint, and Windows Photo Gallery. |
BMP | Bitmap Format | A universal, uncompressed, read-only picture format that can be opened by all web browsers. Often the size of the resultant file is quite large rendering it difficult to use. |
To export a report in one of the above formats:
From within the report screen itself, click on the Snap Schedule button in the top left corner and select the ‘Export Report’ menu item.

This will open up a file save dialog that will allow you to choose where you would like the report saved, and in which format you would like the report to be (shown below). After you have specified the name and location of the file, and your desired output format, click the ‘Save’ button.
Before the file is saved, depending on the format you selected, Snap Schedule may prompt you to specify which pages are to be saved and the image or accuracy quality of the file.
Using the method above, you can export any report within Snap Schedule to help dissminate information within your organization.
